About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Atlanta, Georgia, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment. The role calls for customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to security-related concerns. The position pays $18.10 per hour. The scheduled shifts are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, assist in directing visitors, and remain aware of facility activity while supporting a welcoming environment.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
