About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer in Dallas, Texas, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security concerns. The role follows site-specific procedures and emergency response activities and works within a team guided by care, teamwork, and integrity.

The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access by observing entry and exit activity, checking credentials as directed, and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
