About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Fletcher, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol the site, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes conducting routine rounds, observing activity, reporting concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. The position is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.53 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building exteriors, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
