About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, damaged property, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations while maintaining a professional presence.
