About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail location in San Bruno, California. The officer will safeguard clients and provide customer service while monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role pays $24.00 per hour and follows a schedule of Monday through Wednesday, 4:00 PM to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and associates by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and complete accurate incident and patrol documentation.
