About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Richmond, Virginia, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and communication to help create a welcoming, secure environment for employees and visitors. The role pays $19.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Additional shifts may be available through the Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
