About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Brownsville, Texas, you will help safeguard the client’s site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The role includes scheduled shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available to claim through the company’s platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established emergency response procedures.
Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related matters to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
