About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Louisville, Kentucky. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide customer service while working collaboratively with site personnel and acting with integrity. The role follows an overnight schedule: Monday 11:00 PM–6:00 AM, Tuesday through Thursday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Friday 11:00 PM–3:00 AM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain required logs and reports.
Observe package, vehicle, and freight movement areas for unusual activity and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
