About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Reno, Nevada, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment through professional customer service and communication. The role involves carrying out site procedures and policies, monitoring access, responding to security concerns, and documenting activities. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or unusual activity.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site-specific procedures and reporting requirements.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
