About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Commercial Point, Ohio. The role provides a dependable weekly anchor shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The assigned shift requires a six-month commitment, and additional hours may provide the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $18.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy and for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
