About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. The position provides reliable scheduled hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts at other sites through the company scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shifts require a six-month commitment. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and may scale back when needed. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The role provides unarmed security patrol and inspection services at a retail location, including its parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, while supporting customer service, site procedures, incident response, and reporting.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities according to company and location-specific reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and customer traffic to help maintain an orderly environment, and communicate relevant information to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
