About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for an assigned site in Lubbock, Texas. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and documentation, while supporting a professional environment at a distribution facility.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details.
• Maintain awareness of logistics and distribution operations and communicate clearly with personnel and emergency responders.
