About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Kansas City, Missouri. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to scale back. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property stakeholders while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain accurate daily activity reports, and communicate observations to property contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Provide directions, assist visitors, and document incidents and requests requiring follow-up.
