About The Position

As a Security Officer Distribution Patrol in Mira Loma, California, you will support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. You will work collaboratively to support a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to site contacts or emergency personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure locations; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Accurately document daily activities, incidents, observations, and access-related information in required reports and logs.
