About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a utilities location in Oregon, OH, you will help safeguard clients through routine unarmed patrols, a visible security presence, and responsive customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The role is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $21.11 per hour.

Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screen, subject to applicable laws. State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and access-control issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and visitor or contractor interactions according to site reporting requirements.
