About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer – Patrol Driver in South Bend, Indiana. The role serves and safeguards clients at a logistics-focused location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting site operations. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license. Officers provide customer service, communicate clearly, follow site-specific procedures, and respond to incidents and emergencies as appropriate. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The stated pay rate is $18.20 per hour. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support site operations.
