About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver at a commercial real estate location in Southfield, Michigan, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The position is full-time and pays $14.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and document incidents, patrol findings, and security-related observations.
