About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients, including in warehouse settings. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
