About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Carencro, Louisiana, at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The role pays $16.38 per hour and follows a daytime schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols, and promptly report relevant information.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with access-control procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
