About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed perimeter patrol driver for a commercial real estate location in Sacramento, California. The officer will safeguard the site through vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond professionally to customer needs, and document observations using communication and technology skills. The role includes a schedule of Monday and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, at a pay rate of $20.80 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential security issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site protocols, and contact emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
