About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Prince George, Virginia. The officer conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and directions for authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Prepare accurate activity reports and document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns according to company and site requirements.
