About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Newnan, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The officer will interact with employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, maintaining access-control records, reporting hazards and policy violations, and documenting observations. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
