About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for perimeter patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves safeguarding the site and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. The officer conducts routine and random patrols, monitors facility access, responds to incidents and alarms, and reports security concerns in accordance with company and site procedures. The position pays $16.39 per hour and is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor facility access, verify authorized personnel and visitor entry, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Observe and report potential security concerns involving packages, vehicles, equipment, and restricted areas, following company and site reporting procedures.
