Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in Claude, Texas, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and provide customer service. The role is guided by teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, innovation, and a people-first culture. The position pays $21.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and adjacent work zones to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Accurately document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
