About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Seymour, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at an automotive manufacturing location. In this unarmed security role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming environment and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant security information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
