About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Barstow, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government services location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and members of the public. You will report observations, respond professionally to concerns, and help support a welcoming environment. The position is full-time, with a schedule of 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and pays $21.49 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site policies, assist with directions, and maintain professional interactions with diverse populations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; contact appropriate site personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records according to company and site-specific requirements.
