About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for perimeter patrol at a manufacturing and industrial location in Castle Hayne, North Carolina. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, support access control and site operations, provide customer service to employees and visitors, and respond professionally to security concerns. The listed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel while maintaining a professional presence.
