About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a premier retail location in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. The role includes communicating professionally with guests, staff, and management and supporting site security procedures and emergency response activities. The stated pay rate is $20.66 per hour. The schedule is Friday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entry points, exterior perimeter, and surrounding property to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; escalate matters to site leadership or emergency services as appropriate.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring entrances and exits according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
