About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Salisbury, North Carolina. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. Officers communicate with employees and visitors, report observations, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. The position pays $15.37 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Observe and report hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
