About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Security in Alpharetta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position paying $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response protocols as applicable.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
