About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, you will help safeguard the client site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, observation, and timely reporting. The posted schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
