About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Greenville, South Carolina. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control. The role also involves providing customer service, communicating with site personnel and visitors, and using technology to document security-related observations. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.49 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using a problem-solving approach, and document observations and actions taken.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access in accordance with site procedures.
Identify and report facility hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations that may affect operations.
Communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors and use technology to document security-related observations.
