Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Coordination
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard clients and create a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and property staff. The role includes routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and supporting badge access processes. You will provide customer service and clear communication while following site-specific procedures and responding to incidents as appropriate. The scheduled hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
- Report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner.
- Document observations and complete required reports.
- Assist with access control, visitor direction, and tenant service requests in accordance with site procedures.
