About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, drivers, vendors, and facility operations by conducting patrols, monitoring access points and alarm systems, responding to incidents, and documenting security-related activity. The position emphasizes professional customer service, clear communication, calm problem-solving, and teamwork. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, if required for employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and driver authorization.
Maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.
Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
