About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an unarmed patrol coordination role at a logistics and distribution location in Whiteland, Indiana. The position offers a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours and work toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The role pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Duties include customer service, security procedures, patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and driver entry in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
