About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Coordination for an assigned site at a logistics and distribution location in Fontana, California. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to scale back. The stated pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access by observing vehicle and pedestrian activity, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities according to site-specific reporting requirements.
