About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coordination in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The position provides consistent scheduled hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up additional shifts, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The posted pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service while following site-specific security procedures and policies. Duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting and communicating observations. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, speak, read, and write fluent Spanish, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badges.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Promptly communicate observations and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required documentation.
