About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time enhanced patrol Security Officer in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work varying part-time hours and can build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders according to site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership about daily activities, observed conditions, and security-related concerns.
