About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Clearwater, Florida, at a logistics and distribution location. The position has a designated site and a fixed weekly shift that requires a six-month commitment. The scheduled shift is Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The pay rate is $15.68 per hour.

The role involves providing customer service and carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Officers conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document and report observations and unusual conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, package-handling concerns, vehicle traffic issues, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
