About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Eastvale, California. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with a six-month commitment to that schedule. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform to increase their hours, potentially building up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $19.73 per hour and has a scheduled Sunday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures and site-specific policies. Duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents and alarms, and maintaining accurate activity and incident records. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable security licensing may be required under state or local rules. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local security licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access by observing visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.
