About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Coordination in Mira Loma, California. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift for a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $20.00 per hour and has a scheduled shift on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The Security Officer provides customer service and performs site-specific security procedures at a distribution facility. Duties include unarmed patrols, access control, responding to incidents and alarms, documenting activity, and communicating security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access by verifying authorized entry, directing visitors and drivers, and maintaining required access-control documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
