About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer in Olive Branch, Mississippi, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer helps safeguard employees, visitors, and the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and pays $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Communicate professionally with the Allied Universal team and site personnel, and complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.
