About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Tomball, Texas. The role involves conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring assigned areas, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. The officer is expected to contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a customer-focused approach.

The position pays $16.15 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The role includes paid training and access to career-growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Provide directions, maintain awareness of site activity, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
