About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Irving, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and report security-related concerns. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience.
A guard card or license.
CPR and/or First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor property access, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
