About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced in Kansas City, Missouri. The position provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated weekly anchor shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up shifts toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The role serves a commercial real estate location and involves customer service, security procedures, emergency response, patrols, access monitoring, and accurate reporting. The posted pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 7:30 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and carrying out emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to help deter unauthorized entry and prohibited activity.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
