About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for badge verification at an assigned site in West Point, Virginia. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift with a required six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially build to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The role focuses on customer service, badge and visitor verification, access control, patrols, and responding to alarms or incidents. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Sunday, 12:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that apply before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with contractor and delivery access, vehicle screening, and compliance with site entry requirements while maintaining professional interactions.
