About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced in Moore, South Carolina. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, and allows officers to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The listed shift is Monday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM.

The officer supports security operations at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by providing customer service, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting activity. Candidates must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry according to site-specific access-control procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence.
