About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Reception in Stockton, California, you will help safeguard a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a professional, visible presence to help deter incidents. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The pay rate is $18.60 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle access according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver, and vehicle entry records; communicate access concerns and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to access-control incidents, delivery disputes, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and report security-related concerns.
