About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Sacramento, California. The role involves vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security concerns. The officer also provides courteous customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment.

The position is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and pays $19.40 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary according to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures.
• Accurately document visitor, vehicle, and incident information.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
