About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Stockton, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and communicating professionally with employees, drivers, and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter incidents while supporting smooth site operations. The role is part of Allied Universal’s team, which emphasizes caring service, integrity, and teamwork.

This is a full-time position paying $18.60 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:30 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, delivery records, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
